Buyer's Guide for the Best Kids Alarm Clocks
1. Design
The first thing you need to understand about top kids alarm clocks is that the sturdier the material used in producing them, the better off you would be. This is because you can never be too careful with kids.
Considering the fact that this clock will be locked up in their room every day, you need to make sure that the alarm clock that you opt for is made from sturdy material that can take a beating. You need a clock that won't get destroyed when it falls on the floor.
The casing of your clock matters and this is why we recommend going for high-grade silicon casing as it creates non-slip products that will protect the contents of the clock and prevent it from falling. A good example of alarm clocks with silicon casing are cube sized clocks and they sometimes come in a variety of colors and sizes for you to choose from.
2. Volume or Vibration
Depending on what stage your child is or the age, you might have to choose between going for an alarm clock that is extremely loud but with a snooze effect or an alarm clock that features vibrating sensors. This is also a consideration to look into if you have a child with a slight hearing problem or just a heavy sleeper.
Alarms with heavy ringing are often hard to ignore and with time, your kids will learn to wake up in time to stop the ringing. Another alternative is to get alarmed clocks with vibration features. These clocks come with sensors that shake the bed until your child gets up and turns it off. This bed movement can be irritating and with time, your child will naturally get off the bed on their own volition to avoid the moving bed.
3. Action Figures or Solid
Finding the best alarm clock for toddlers could involve you choosing an action figure that your child is obsessed with like Ben 10 in order to encourage them to wake up when the alarm goes off from their miniature toy figuring. It will also complement the decor and serve as a kid that your kids can show off to their friends.
There are top alarm clocks made in solid designs but equally as effective as they come with great features like the snooze button, LCD back light to view the time at night and a music player. At the end of the day, you have to decide based on your preferences to choose an alarm clock you feel will help your child get up early in the morning.

The BulbBotz Star Wars BB-8 Alarm Clock is a great gift you can give to your toddler to teach them when to sleep and the time to wake up. This digital clock is 7.5 inches tall with alarm and snooze functions. This iconic droid which is quite famous will be an instant hit with your child. Using it is simple: once you press down the head of BB-8, the light functions will activate.
When the alarm goes off and you want to snooze also, you have to push down the head. For some of the other alarm clocks that we have reviewed here, the lights come on either when it's time to sleep or when it's time to get out of bed.
We should warn you that the figure is the only thing that resembles BB-8. The sound this alarm clock produces is quite generic and it is nothing close to the sound BB-8 makes. But on the plus side, you can use your hands to twirl the head of the robot.
The sound is quite okay but it could be louder. If your child is a heavy sleeper, this is definitely not the alarm that you should use.

The Scenstar Kids Clock Digital Alarm Clock is an electronic LED clock that changes colors during use. It can also be given as a gift to your child during Christmas or thanksgiving. It displays a whole lot of information that ranges from year, month, time and temperature.
Powered by 3 AAA batteries, which you have to buy separately, you won't find it hard getting used to this alarm clock. When you have a child that you need to train for the periods when she needs to sleep and when she needs to wake up, using a combination of alarm sounds and colored lights would do the trick. This alarm clock is as gentle as they get.It can be placed by the bedside, in the car and can also be used by adults in the office. It shows the time in a 24-hour format though.
We noticed some owners complained about that and the lack of instructions. But we figure this shouldn't be a deal breaker. Your toddler won't really use the time feature anyway but the back light display which glows with different colors will be attractive to him.
The Scenstar Kids Clock Digital Alarm clock is not complicated to use and why this doesn't exclude the manufacturer from not including an instruction manual from the booklet, it does mean you don't really need it anyway.
